NikahEasy.org ("we", "us") operates a halal Muslim matrimonial platform. We take the privacy of our members very seriously, in line with Islamic values of modesty (haya) and trust (amanah).

2. Information we collect

Account data: email, password (hashed), authentication tokens.
Profile data: alias, age, gender, country, city, education, profession, sect, religiosity, languages, family background, bio, photos.
Contact data (private): full name, phone, contact email — never shown publicly without your consent.
Activity data: messages, interests, profile views, last-seen timestamps.

3. How we use your data

To create and manage your matrimonial profile.
To compute compatibility scores and recommend matches.
To enable secure, moderated communication between members.
To prevent fraud, abuse, and unislamic behaviour.

4. Photo privacy

By default photos are visible only after mutual interest. You can change this to fully public or fully private at any time from your profile settings.

5. Sharing

We never sell your data. Profile information is shown only to other authenticated NikahEasy members within the limits of your visibility settings. We may share data with law enforcement when legally required.

6. Security

All data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure with row-level security policies. Passwords are hashed. We follow industry best practices but no online service is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

You can edit, hide, or delete your profile at any time. To permanently remove your account and all related data, contact us via the support channel.
